I didn't go biridng today ....
... but other folk did. A Ring Ouzel was on the railway line near to Robin Hood's Bay and there was a Med' Gull near Saltwick Nab, not a great deal to show for a whole day's effort.

also male and female snow bunting with small flock of skylarks in stubble field at hawkser. Also 2 male blackcap along railway line but your right very little reward for a dawn till dusk day. Much more activity than the previous saturday though.
